| At CLA Grills & Service, we have been selling, installing, and repairing gas grills since 1986. In that year Lark and Adelma, along with their two children, decided to start a family business based on the sales, installation, and repair of outdoor gas grills. We were then, and still are, factory representatives for a number of major grill brands and still do warranty repair work for some of those brands.
The CLA in our company name stands for Carl, Lark, Linda, and Adelma. In this 1959 photo, Lark (dad) is shown demonstrating the first Arkla gas grill. That's right, the very first Arkla gas grill. It wasn't much more than a big pot with a burner connected to a propane bottle. Lark spent the next 23 years with the Arkla company, one of the very first major producers of outdoor gas grills for the retail market. |
