Arguably the oldest name in commercially available outdoor gas grills, Arkla grills have been around since the very late 1950's.
Arkla Industries was a pioneer in the newly emerging gas grill industry and made a lot of different models under the Arkla name and
other brand names such as Arklamatic, Embermatic, and Patio Range, as well as Kenmore models sold by Sears and Roebuck.
Arkla Industries, the grill making subsidiary of the Arkla Gas Company, was acquired by Preway, which was in turn acquired by Sunbeam.
All of these companies are now gone but many of these great Arkla BBQ grills live on.
